How an amount is written in words
Contracts, invoices and acts usually repeat the amount in words to make mistakes and alterations harder. For example: UAH 1,250.50 (one thousand two hundred fifty hryvnias and 50 kopiykas).
The tool handles grammatical gender and case in Ukrainian and Russian (one thousand, two thousand, five thousand; one hryvnia, two hryvnias). The fractional part can be shown as digits, as is usual in documents, or in words. Amounts up to 999 trillion are supported.

How do I write an amount in words in a contract?
Usually the amount is given in digits first, with the words in brackets, for example: UAH 1,250.50 (one thousand two hundred fifty hryvnias and 50 kopiykas). The words must not contradict the digits.
Should the amount in words start with a capital letter?
Most often the first word is capitalized. The converter does this by default and you can switch it off.
Which currencies and languages are supported?
Hryvnia, US dollar, euro, or a plain number. The result can be produced in Ukrainian, Russian or English regardless of the page language.
