Secure Password Generator
Generate cryptographically strong passwords directly in your browser.
How a strong password is generated
The password is created using your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (Web Crypto API), not a plain Math.random(). This means the character sequence is unpredictable and can't be reconstructed.
Password strength ≈ log₂(alphabet size) × length
The longer the password and the more character types enabled (uppercase, lowercase, digits, symbols), the more possible combinations exist and the longer it takes to brute-force. A minimum length of 12–16 characters is recommended for important accounts.

FAQ about the password generator
Does the site store the passwords it generates?
No. The password is generated and displayed only in your browser — it's never sent to a server and isn't stored after you close the page.
What password length is considered secure?
For most services, 12+ characters with uppercase, lowercase, digits, and symbols enabled is recommended. For critical accounts (email, banking), 16 or more characters is a good idea.
Should I reuse the same password across sites?
No, every account should have a unique password. If one service is breached, unique passwords keep attackers from accessing your other accounts. Consider using a password manager to keep track of them.
