How percentages are calculated
A percentage is a share of a number. To find a percentage of a number, multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. A discounted price is the price minus the discount amount.
Percentage of a number = Number × Percentage ÷ 100. Discounted price = Price − (Price × Discount ÷ 100)
For example, 15% of 2,000 UAH is 300 UAH. A product costing 2,000 UAH with a 15% discount will cost 1,700 UAH.

How to calculate a discounted price?

Divide the first number by the second and multiply by 100. For example, 50 of 200: 50 ÷ 200 × 100 = 25%.
