What the text analyzer measures
The tool counts the number of characters (with and without spaces), words, and an estimated reading time for an average person reading aloud. All figures update instantly as you type or paste text.
Reading time (min) ≈ Word count ÷ 200
200 words per minute is the average adult reading speed, so the figure is approximate and can vary with text complexity and the individual reader's speed. The “Remove double spaces” button instantly cleans up extra spaces in the text.

FAQ about text analysis
How is the word count calculated?
Words are identified by spaces and punctuation between them. Multiple consecutive spaces don't create extra “empty” words.
Why count characters without spaces?
This is useful anywhere limits apply specifically to letters and digits — for example, certain forms, database fields, or SMS messages.
Can I analyze text in a language other than Ukrainian?
Yes, the character and word counter works with any language and alphabet, including Cyrillic, Latin script, and digits.
